Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Poreless Skin AI Limited is committed to making the Poreless Skin AI mobile app as accessible and usable as reasonably possible for people with disabilities.

We aim to support the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where applicable to a mobile application. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we intend to improve the app as features evolve and as we receive user feedback.

This statement currently covers the Poreless Skin AI mobile app, version 1.0. A separate accessibility statement may be published for the Poreless website when the website launches.

Accessibility Status

Poreless Skin AI has not yet completed formal accessibility testing, an independent accessibility audit, or testing with VoiceOver, TalkBack, large-text settings, keyboard/external-switch navigation, or device rotation.

For that reason, we do not currently claim full conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We are working toward improving accessibility and will review this statement as testing and improvements are completed.

Accessibility Features Currently Included

The app has been designed to include the following accessibility-supporting features:

• Form fields use visible labels.
• Error messages are provided in text, rather than relying only on colour.
• Important controls are designed with colour contrast in mind.
• The app is designed so that colour is not the only way to communicate important information.
• Buttons and interactive controls are designed with sufficiently large touch targets and spacing.
• Informative images and icons are intended to have text alternatives where needed.
• Face Scan includes voice guidance to help users complete the photo-capture process.
• Product Scan can accept manually entered product names, so a camera image is not required for that feature.
• Users can contact us for accessibility support and may request information in an alternative format where reasonably possible.

These features have not yet been comprehensively tested across all supported devices, operating-system accessibility settings, assistive technologies, screen sizes, or user needs.

Known Limitations and Alternatives

We are aware of the following current limitations or areas that have not yet been fully evaluated:

Assistive-Technology Testing

We have not yet tested the app with Apple VoiceOver or Android TalkBack. Screen-reader navigation, focus order, labels for all controls, and announcements for dynamic content may therefore require improvement.

Alternative: If you cannot complete a task because of a screen-reader or navigation issue, contact support@poreless.org. We will try to provide reasonable assistance.

Large Text and Display Settings

We have not yet comprehensively tested all screens with large text, system font scaling, display zoom, or all screen sizes.

Alternative: If enlarged text causes content to overlap, truncate, or become difficult to use, contact us and include the device model, operating-system version, text-size setting, and screen where the issue occurred.

Face Scan

Face Scan requires access to a camera and a sufficiently clear skin photo. It is a visual feature and may not be usable by every person in every circumstance. The app provides voice guidance during face capture, but a non-photo alternative to generate the same face-scan result is not currently available.

Alternative: Product Scan can be used by manually entering a product name without using a camera image. For support with other app functions, contact us.

Dark Mode, Motion, and Orientation

Dark mode is not currently available. We have not yet completed testing for reduced-motion preferences, portrait/landscape rotation, external keyboards, or switch-access navigation.

Alternative: If an interface element, animation, orientation, or interaction method creates a barrier, contact us with details so we can assess a reasonable alternative or prioritise an improvement.

Multimedia

The app does not currently provide video captions or audio transcripts. If future app content includes video, audio, or other multimedia with essential information, we intend to consider captions, transcripts, or suitable alternatives where appropriate.

How We Assess Accessibility

This statement is based on an initial internal review of the app's intended design and implemented features. It is not based on a formal accessibility audit or independent conformance evaluation.

We plan to improve our assessment process by testing relevant app flows with:

• Apple VoiceOver and Android TalkBack.
• System text scaling and display settings.
• Colour contrast and non-colour indicators.
• Touch-target size, focus order, and keyboard/switch navigation where applicable.
• Different screen sizes, orientations, and operating-system versions.
• User feedback, including feedback from people who use assistive technologies.

• Screenshots or screen recordings, if you are comfortable providing them and they do not contain sensitive personal information.

We will consider reasonable requests for help and alternative formats, such as plain-text or accessible email information, where reasonably possible.

Updates to This Statement

We may update this Accessibility Statement as we test the app, fix barriers, add features, launch the website, or improve accessibility support. We will revise the “Last updated” date when we make changes.
